If York couldn't get it in the ballpark, I may be way off. But FWIW, I felt that I got close enough to the pushed od 1 mode with the Brit 800 #34. This was several years back when my stock 1998 JCM 2000 was out of commission for awhile and I missed it. The 2000 was an awesome amp.

No worries. I just somehow got it to work though dumb luck with random PC messages and the learn feature. Pretty easy.

Fryette 2/90/2 makes a buzzing sound on power up

Since we have a little 2/90/2 support group going here....How are you guys running yours? I think I like the low power mode with the voicing button out. I haven't really ever been able to crank it on either power setting though. This amp is such ridiculous overkill but just so cool at the same...

Western Electric. Seems a long ways out, if it happens at all, according to Steve Fryette. China is up and running now though and JJ still exists. I can't really recommend a particular brand. Tubes are tubes to me.

I grabbed two sets right when the tube situation got bad. Glad I did because it looks like they are running close to $300 as of today. Ugly

Mine does the same thing. I think you are good. It's a sweet amp. Good luck finding reasonably priced kt88s for that thing. That's been a concern for me.
