Please Help Urgent. Updated new firmware. AxeFX boot up screen loads in. Then screen goes blank. Did the utility menu memory scan. (Page left and Page Right on Re-boot). Said everything was fine. Please help!!!

Dual Recording question

So I found that I had to max out the output knob (5:00) on the front of the unit and add 6db in the I/O settings to make give the signal the same volume. Does that seem right?
