hey what should I put output 1 at when playing through studio monitors? im playing through some 8 inch studio monitors.

looking for solo sound.

One thing that I tried was hitting the fat switch and increasing the gain a little. That way seem to work pretty well with some amps. Others I did the same thing but placed a drive pedal with others. They sound pretty clean and not to stressful on the ears. Thanks to everyone for the help.

I do appreciate the advice perdikament that really helps me. When you solo with the amp distortion, do you leave the amp settings the same and add the eq on the end or do you change your amp eq settings? That seems to be the way that I like to try.

the amp blocks level parameter works pretty good for me. I put the verb and delay back in series now. that's where I like to have them.

yeah it works great for me. when I put the effects in parallel, I get more volume. its not the effects that's giving me the volume its just having parallel that seems to me the boost. I turn down the effects mix because like rex said it turns into mud at a high level.

hey guys got the clr and wow! anyways, i have noticed when i make a patch around the powerball it seems to have alot less power to it db wise. i had to put the reverb and delay in paralell to get the volume up to match my other presets. when i increase the master volume it flubs out or channel...

xlr cables?

i was wondering if there is a big difference in xlr cables out there. i'm having a hard time tracking some down. right now i'm using some $15 dollar set coming out of the axe fx 2 into my clr. is there maybe a better product out there for better sound?
