Is the Axe-Fx III available or wait only?

Sorry I know this sounds like a dumb question but when I go to the site it says that they are in-stock for $2499. Back when I got my Axe-Fx II, they had a waitlist but also some people were spending more money to get it sooner. I'm not ready to buy but just curious about the situation. Thanks!

Long time Fractal guy here. Is "III" miles beyond the "II"?

Appreciate all of the replies!! One other thing I'll add is that other than a few IRs I bought years ago, I have pretty much stuck with the same IRs built into the "II" for years so I'm sure that part alone will be a big upgrade for me.

Long time Fractal guy here. Is "III" miles beyond the "II"?

Hello all! I am a huge Fractal fan and have been using the Axe-Fx II since probably around 2011 or so. Love the tones so much that I haven't owned another amp since. I've done so many recordings and the awesome black box never lets me down. I've been on the forum here for years and know a bunch...

Heavy Tones and Ear Fatigue

I was just doing a search for ear fatigue with KRK's and came to your post. I have the same issue and know exactly what you are talking about man. I have my AxeFx II going into a pair of KRK G5's that I just got about two weeks ago. For me it is certain notes like palm muting in D flat tuning...

Who's Planning To "Eventually" Move Up To The III?

I'm the type of person that researches something to death before buying it, whether a car, guitar, etc. Since I already have a "II", the difference would have to be so significant of a change that it would make it worth the money. Not saying it is not worth the money but I have a few other...

Newbie - buy discounted Axe Fx II or III??

Axe-Fx II "Quantum" Rev 9.04 Firmware Release

I can tell you that I had an older Xitone 1x12 and Matrix 1x12, and the Friedman is the only FRFR that I actually took a step back and immediately knew I made the right purchase. The only bad side in my opinion is the weight but I never have to move mine so not an issue. It sounds like a guitar...

Why 512 Presets?

I might be talking out of my ass here but I could have sworn I saw something where one preset actually can store four channels so you could have a Fender, Marshall, Mesa, ENGL, in one preset. I might be wrong but I thought I read that somewhere.

I have been begging for a carefully modelled Cameron Aldrich Mod Marshall down to the various switches, options, capacitors, etc., etc. I know there are Camerons available but haven't seen one that nails that Cameron tone the way Cliff and Co. are capable of.
