    Bug? Expression Pedal limitation

Does FAS ever confirm or discuss bug findings here or is it just a repository of potential bugs they may or may not look at? I'm all set to help do any tests or provide more info.

    Bug? Expression Pedal limitation

I'm zeroing on the the exact nature of the problem. In the scenario that brought me to report the bug, I'm controlling the Time function of a Strymon Timeline. This is a CC# that accepts 000-127 and I'm trying to scale the full sweep of the pedal down to 102-127. That's where I first noticed...

    Bug? Expression Pedal limitation

I'm not sure I know what "limiting expression travel" is, but I'd say "cutting the range for CC#" is what I'm doing. I'm programming the preset's XP(n) Min - Max values and controlling a specified CC# and Channel. No Global settings involved.

Bug? MIDI - Song Mode - Alt Patch strangeness

Using v. 3.05 as MIDI controller in Song Mode. I have a system where my MFC receives preset change commands via MIDI, and then I have the ability to also switch presets myself. I use BankSize 5, and if a song needs more than 5 presets, I make an ALT for one of the 5 presets and switch to it...

    Bug? Expression Pedal limitation

I'm using the MFC as a MIDI controller. I have an AMT Expression pedal, calibrated, and it works unless I want to limit the range of the pedal for a particular patch. To be clear, if I say the Min and Max of the pedal is 000 - 127 for a patch, it works fine and the entire range is achievable...

What's the point of Expression Pedal Calibration?

Right, I thought I was missing the point of pedal calibration based on my results initially, but I had it right. The problem wasn't calibration, that works fine. It's only when I limit the range of the values the MFC sends per patch. I've used limited range before on the MFC, but I never...

What's the point of Expression Pedal Calibration?

I was just doing more testing and I forgot to mention, I have the expression pedal setting for this particular patch to limit the range from 102 - 127 (and it falls short of hitting 127). If I set the possible range from 000-127, then it hits 127 (Timeline goes all the way to 24 bpm). Any help...

What's the point of Expression Pedal Calibration?

Note: I use the MFC as a MIDI controller only, I don't have an Axe-fx ... I always thought the point of calibrating an expression pedal was so that a unit like the MFC could compensate for different pedals and still send the full range of MIDI values (0-127). I bought an AMT Expression...

    MFC Setup special request

It sounds like when you bank up and down on the MFC and you are switching to new presets, the MFC is sending info on channel 2 by default to the gizmo. The MFC, at least in MIDI only mode (the way I use it), comes from the factory with each preset preprogrammed to send the correlated program #...

    MFC Setup special request

Oh, another thing I'd suggest is that you hook the MFC directly to the Amp Gizmo until you find the right combination of the Channel and Program numbers. No need to take a chance that something between them is altering your results. Once you know for absolute certainty what combination of...

    MFC Setup special request

Looking at the Mini Amp Gizmo docs, it does take Program Change commands (as well as Continuous Controller). You likely stored your changes on that device to low program numbers 1,2,3, etc. If Program Change commands on Channel 1 are currently changing your AxeFX, then you may have set your...

    Odd IA bypass on MFC

You are already familiar with how the MFC AI MIDI switches work? Unless you want the IA switch to be global, you have to save the state for the AI switch in each preset on the MFC, by default these are disabled in every preset. If you have it working to where the IA switch is able to control...

    Odd IA bypass on MFC

There was some weirdness when I was getting this to work with the H9 as well, but now it works reliably setting it up this way: In the H9: 1. Map a CC# to the "Activate Preset". Don't use the Toggle mapping (which is what I suspect you have done) or the Bypass. 2. Make sure that you store each...
