What is the purpose of Factory Preset archive?

Do you need to load the new factory presets after doing a firmware update or are the new presets included in the new firmware updates?

FW 2.0 beta WARNING

I just updated to firmware 2.0 beta and the editor is showing that all my presets are over the CPU max even though they are not even close. The red WARNING sign is on. Can’t get it to allow sound through

FM3 stopped communicating via USB

My FM3 stopped communicating over USB a few months ago. I reset all the paramaters but still wont communicate. Fractal Bot and Editor dont see the unit. I replaced the USB cord and still nothing. Any ideas??

FM3 sounds muffled out of the box.

Best way to describe it is it sounded like my tone knob on the guitar was turned all the way down. I tried it with my Telecaster, strat, 335 and PRS. All sounded muffled.

The output was set to -10db. That solved most the issue.

Update: I found that output 1 had a -10db pad on it. I set it to +6 and that solved most the issues. For any presets that still sounded muddy, I turned the bass down to 1 on those amps.

Hey guys. I sold my AXFX 2 a few months ago when the FM3 was announced. I used my old rig just for live gigs and was getting a great “amp like” tone when doing direct to house. Fast forward to this week. I just got the FM3 and plugged it into my usual PA to start building my live patches again...

Stereo out via USB HELP!

hi gang. Question: I am trying to get stereo ping pong delays with no luck. Can you get stereo separation when going USB into your computer? Or do I have to plug into a stereo interface? My setup is very basic. AxFx USB into my iMac and played thru GarageBand.

Distorted/ OD tones are fizzy.. HELP!!

I need some help y'all... Ive got an Axe Fx 2 plus. Running it direct to FOH. I bought a Friedman powered wedge for rehearsals. All the distored tones sound fuzzy as heck when played through the wedge. Ive got the eq as flat as possible on the wedge to not color the base tone. The fizz is...

Own hammer IR help

i downloaded the ownhammer free cab on their webpage. I tried uploading it to my axe fx, but it says I need to use fractal's cab utility software for it to work? Any help would be great!

Wah AND volume expression

is it possible to have the expression pedal control a wah on one preset and control volume on a different preset? My EV1 is plugged into my MFC. I'm using jack #2
