New FM ???

I’m waiting for an AxeFX III in floor format. Hopefully it happens. FM3 is cool and all but I want a NO compromise AxeFX that can do dual duty on the floor and on the desk.

Yes but, it's $1,445 for TWO DLM12's vs $1,399 for ONE CLR Neo. I get that the CLR is probably better (haven't heard one yet) but, let's face it, it is not two times better (got to love the law of diminishing returns). I bought the DLM's myself. I like a stereo setup and just couldn't justify...

Powered Monitor - Mackie DLM

Carvin Fet 450...Any advice?

Great power amp, just super heavy. I used it with various guitar preamps and guitar cabs (well before the axe fx came out though). I don't necessarily think it sounds tubelike but, it didn't sound sterile either. I offed it because of its weight (which is probably why it sounds good). Best SS...

If you can handle the weight, I would ALWAYS choose a great sounding tube power amp over a solid state one. So my vote goes to the Mesa.

I need help. Going nuts. Share your ideas.

An option but, it isn't powered, is a DV Mark 1x12 cabinet. Under 20 pounds and small enough to carry on a plane. You would just need your power amp of choice with the Axe.

Fryette D60 More - first recording/Toontrack Metal God 2013 contest

I like the actual solo quite a bit. I like "soul" in solos for EVERY style of music. I don't feel the same way about the tone though. Which is not to say it sounds bad but, why not try rerecording a few takes with different amp models? You may find that another one fits within the music more.

Review/Discussion: Retro Channel Stereo Power Amp

I assume the retro channel handles 4 ohm mono, correct? I saw the posts that say no to 4 ohm stereo but, 4 ohm mono is like 8 ohm stereo.

Which is better for Axe... GCP or All Access?

What's the general consensus from users. Better to have a Voodoo Lab Ground Control Pro or a Rocktron All Access/MIDI Raider to control an Axe FX II? I assume they're both fine and dandy to do basic things like selecting patches but, which is better for turning individual fx off or selecting...
