I'm not expert but for most amps that sound to loose and flubby: Go into the amp block and then input eq. Crank the low cut up to around 750hz. Then back it off until you get the lowend feel/sound you want. I personally do this at stock settings then tweak but it with sounds you've already...

Any luck on this? I'm trying to nail down a Framus Cobra tone. I've tried FAS Modern and all the rectos with adjustments but its still not quite there.

Awesome dude! This sounds awesome. All i did was lower the gain and I was set. Do you have better results leaving the presence and depth low like this versus using high and low cuts in the cab block? I also do this was at low volumes but at loud volumes i'm always concerned i'm gonna rip...

My JCM800 Just Blew Up

I haven't played my Quickrod in a few months. Now i have to try it today and pray it doesn't blow up. I know the QR's arent super popular but i haven't heard alot of horror stories about them yet.

Why do some IR's and DynaCab's seem to compress more than others?

I'm also trying to convert my sounds to dyna cabs. What scarbodave said makes alot of sense to me also.

Sunrise Splendor on FM9 is GREAT

Quilty as charged. 😱 You could only put FAS amps and drives in the next gen product and i'd be more than stoked to give you my money. I rarely use anything else.

I've never played a morning glory but the axe model def has a blanket over the cab and crank the bass type sound. Hard to complain about new things always being added so i'm grateful still.

Just got done playing through the metal essentials pack! Man these sound great I was really suprised by the Atomica, Uber and Splawn presets. Are these more for live use or recording? If for live do you have any recommendations which preset would be best for live use? My room is untreated so...

Wow i just downloaded the nightmare preset. Great job, first time i've ever downloaded a preset that actually sounded good. All i did was lower gain to my tastes. I'll be supporting your work now! Btw what cab and speaker is the nightmare IR? It sounds great!
