Announcing Axe-Fx III Mark II

Axe 3 Mk1 vs. Mk2? Is there any difference in sound between Mk1 and Mk2? User cabs - Are there more slots in the Mk2? Any change to to Cab block or Amp block? Can you use more Amps or Cabs with the Mk2? Any other differences besides the screen and increase in User presets with the Mk2? Thanks so...

Routing....Chaining Axe-Fx units instead of a/b/y switch??

I tried lehle, morley, radial splitters... they all colored the sound due to the transformers. I need the signal to be exactly the same as it is going into the first Axe. Latency is a big concern also. Thanks for the ideas though, any other solutions to make this approach work please?

Importing IRs Into User Banks

I feel like throwing my new Axe III against the F'ing wall. Shouldn't be this hard to get my user cabs loaded. Not a good first day with this thing. Windows 7 user, latest version of Fractal-Bot. Tried different USB cables. Never had issues with my Axe 2's.

So far I'm not entirely sold on the Axe Fx 3....

To me there is alredy a noticeable difference in tone between the 2 and 3 based on YouTube comparisons, the 3 sounding even more real/ organic while at the same time seeming to have more definition. I bet in a mix the 3 will cut through much better even with these earlier FW versions on the 3...

On the Axe III can I have one row of 1 Amp +1cabs, then another row of amp 2 + cab 2 going outputs 1+2, then set up a Reverb on another row going to outs 3+4 to use as an insert in pro tools? Basically I'm wanting to know how to set up the Axe III as a stand alone reverb outboard...
