    Lifespan of a Laptop?

My main problem with laptop lifespan has been the case flexing or breaking and causing the issues the OP stated, and then it's time for a new one. Since I "retired" I carry my laptop around the house all the time and they break within a year. I never had any issues at work and I started using...

    What Thickness for HDPE pedalboard

Good job on that case. I was looking at a smaller case but went with a slightly larger one which had wheels. It's a little bigger than my guitar cases, so a little big for a pedal board, but I'll put my tools, cords, and the normal gig necessaries. Thanks for the info!

You might give this guy a call. See the blog where he cut away a small part of the fretboard at the truss rod anchor point. He sawed through at one of the fret slots. https://www.strangeguitarworks.com/replacing-a-broken-truss-rod/

    What Thickness for HDPE pedalboard

That's nice! I had some 5/8 plywood I was saving for this project but got rid of it a few months ago. I was looking for that aluminum channel stock here at home depot and they don't have anything that would work. I think that have have been lighter than my hdpe board. oh well, its on the...

    Axe-Fx III Cygnus Presets - Banks A & B Preview

These preset updates are cool. Trying to think back, in 10 years, is this the 3rd update to the factory presets?

    What Thickness for HDPE pedalboard

Per Jacks reply above I'm thinking about going with the 3/4" thickness. He said he thought the 1/2" might flex a bit and he has used 3/4". I think my board at 3/4" will be about 9lbs which isn't too bad. The HDPE sheet would be 3/4"x 44" x 10" and I'll cut it down. It's $86 plus $27 shipping...

Really, ok I'm glad I asked. Guess I will go with the 3/4!

    What Thickness for HDPE pedalboard

I'm putting together a pedal board to hold the FC12 and three mission pedals. They occupy about 34" x 10". I was going to mount them to a piece of plywood or 1x8 but I'm thinking of using a piece of HDPE plastic instead. I'm wondering what thickness to get so it doesn't flex too much when...

Ghosts? Anyone Ever Experience Unexplained Things?

I have a samsung TV that has turned itself on at least 50 times in the last 18 months. I did a little research and it turns out there is a little capacitor in some of these TVs that causes the issue. But I ain't gonna replace it. It used to scare the heck out of me, though.

    Mono 365 still workin’

And you got two pedals in there! Nice! Looks like there's still room for a little power conditioner like the Furman ac215 too.

    Harmony question

I didn't think I'd see someone transcribe that and then describe how to program it on the axe in 1 sentence! @Bakerman is WAY smarter than me!!

Headphones and Atomic CLR MkII Neo

I too have the Beyerdynamic 880s and CLR and agree with ethomas1013. One thing I like about the 880s is that I can't turn them up too loud. And there is just a little too much of something in the hi end with CLRs that I don't really notice with the 880.
