    Thanks for the replies, if the gap is quicker that's great I manage fine with the gap on the Ultra, but I think it does look like scenes are the way forward with the Ax8. I look forward to getting one and exploring the possiblities.

    I've had the Axe Fx Ultra for 10 years and it's time to get the Ax8 it looks like it will suit my needs better. Is the gap during changing presets more on the Ax8 than the Ultra (the ultra has never bothered me in that respect) What are some other things I should be aware of?

    There was a vocoder preset uploaded by someone a few years ago, you could check that. One thing is for the mic you'll need to go through a preamp into the rear input for it to work, I remember that much from others having issues

    I based many of mine on Yek's and Mark Day's Your Plexi 2 patch I'm using at the moment has a fair bit of bottom end on it through FRFR but it works for the song I'm using it for so I don't mind. I need to find some quality time to work with your presets in the next week

    I'm using your Plexi 2 patch for Chris Tomlin's Let God Arise on Sunday. we've turned it into more of a 70's hard blues rock style song. Even without the delay block active I get a huge sound with this patch

    Are all the PEQ the same settings after the cab? It looks like they are at a glance on your example ones. I've saved the individual blocks so I can put them into my own patch templates

    These are really solid patches! I need to tame some of the high end on the Plexi (personal preference) I can see some of the others making it into my 'go to' bank. They really are nice and beefy, you'll give Yek a run for his money with your patches, his are the basis of the ones I use...
