Axe FX2 overkill for me?

It's not overkill man, if you just use it for the amps n cabs it's worth every penny!! And it's always nice to have a lot of amps n cabs.... Oh and stellar effects if the mood takes one :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Setup

If your using it as a power stage then axe out >> Marshall fx loop return. Note on some amps I have found that there is no volume control so it defaults to 10! The 4CM is if you wanted to utilise the Marshall preamp too (wouldn't bother personally) Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

First time Axe owner, new Axe II day!

Welcome aboard I was an 11r user too (couldnt afford an Axefx Ultra at the time) and it was fun though updates and support was a bit "meh". When i finally got the II.. Wow!! Enjoy the ride :)

What Amps/Speakers with Axe FX II?

welcome aboard I guess the answer would be FRFR as then you can really get the most out of the axefx but there is no hard and fast rules. People use FRFR (full range flat response) as it then lets the axe do its thing. Some just love the valve amp into a guitar cab sound & feel...
