I had two freezes happen again yesterday on a gig. It froze up after a few hours (the gig was 4 hours long), during the last set. i am starting to wonder if this is due to heat or if it just happens after a certain length of time? I reboot the FC6 attached to the FM3 by removing and reinserting...

Stage Sound Options

I’m looking into the Line 6 Power Cab Plus for this. I also use inears but definitely prefer to have some stage volume as well As my inears are not a custom seal.

Cab m+

I have the torpedo CAB pedal (1st gen) and have used it to run out of the FM3 and into it. It sounds great and saves a good amount of cpu in the process as I also use the reverb in the CAB as well, but it’s one extra thing to plug in and take with you.

I just wanted to report back to this thread that my unit STILL freezes to this day. Hardly ever happens at home, usually happens during a rehearsal and happened twice on my last gig. So frustrating.

I was referring to the lag in performance of response in the FM3. The lag from hitting a foot switch to the time it takes for the unit to respond. Not the the latency one might feel playing guitar into it. I can understand how that might be misconstrued. I guess I should have used a different term.

Tired of band discussions about my git sound

Bypassing cab modeling globally drops my cpu by nearly 15% on my FM3 🤷🏻‍♂️ I should note that I also use preamp modeling in the cab block and that in itself increases cpu so when it’s all bypassed it makes a difference.
