Fair enough. A little research exposes which mic pres are based on the circuits modeled on the Axe. But there are still multiple FET or Tube or OpAmp based mic preamps even within the context. I'm cool with the Cliff leaving out the particulars - it doesn't have to be as specific as the amp...

I use it often. Usually tape but I should probably explore it more deeply. Have the originals ever been cited for each model, like the Amp block?

Nektar Pacer....thoughts?

Thanks so much for the response and honesty. I use iFCB to program my Behringer so it's really a breeze. But the Pacer looks like the future so I'm almost on board. The editor would truly be the clincher for me.

Bump! Anything in the pipeline for an editor? The Pacer would be a real winner if if came with a software editor. I currently use iFCB for my Behringer but the Pacer is way more impressive on paper...

Intermittent USB connection

I do run plenty of virtual instruments but none of the MIDI should be going to the Axe. It's all in the DAW.

Not to pile on, but I've also had some funny experiences when running AE3 and ProTools at the same time. I've resorted to editing on the panel while I do my sessions but if I run both at the same time I'll start getting drop-outs, and eventually the computer and Axe III will lose sync, my audio...

Issue when using Axe-Edit III at same time as Logic

This is great news. I recently posted a thread about USB bandwidth using AE3 and ProTools, experiencing time-outs and losses of communication. Looking forward to any development!

Go into your I/O settings, delete and default your Inputs and Outputs, while your Axe is selected as the interface.

Picked up a DBX RTA-M omni mic
