FM3 Firmware Version 8.00 beta 1

Long time FAS user here, can I say that in all my FAS years this might be the best sounding firmware update to date? The Mesa amps sound monsterous and with the Horizon drive pedal in the front it sounds like the amp is about to explode. Super awesome. Thanks again for all that you do Cliff and Co.!

[SOLVED] Clearer DI waveforms while recording

Am I the only one that has my DI tracks almost hitting the ceiling (almost to clipping)? I thought it was advised to crank the DI input.

You read my mind! I was just wondering the last couple of days if we would be getting a new FM3 firmware update any time soon. Not that we need one but dammit if it's not crack for my musican's mind! What exactly would we be expecting in this supposed update?

Thanks for the advise... let me give that a try right quick. Transformer Match: All the way left it added girth but got a little airy. All the way right added great mids but palm mutes got flubby. Sag : moving it up or down didn't seem to have any audible effect. Master Bias Ex: Turning it up...

I finally got a chance to A/B my Mesa Triple Recto to the FM3. The closest amp that I can mimic with is the Recto 1 (Red?) To the Triple Rectifier Channel 3 Modern Channel. There is a bit more girth/weight with the real amp that I'm guessing has more to do with the 150 watt power section. Is...

Bravo to the FAS team... this beta 4 and beta 6 have been amazing to my ears. I've been a long time Axe-fx Ultra, II and now FM3 user since back in 2008. I've struggle with the Ultra, II and even with the FM3. FW 6 beta 4/6 has been AMAZING to my ears. Clear, organic and just overall bad ass...

hahaha... sorry. I installed firmware 6b3 into my FM3 and connected it into my soundcard playing into Cakewalk with Sonarworks VST which gives me a flat response EQ to better hear what the FM3 is supposed to sound like.
