This cab works with everything well as it's quite neutral - it's not amp nor genre dependant so don't be afraid to try it with your main preset. It's based on my Mesa 4x12 Oversize with V30s from my golden year (2000). Something about the paper in the cone or elsewhere but those V30s are not far...

Do You Guys Mostly Use 3rd Party IRs or Are You Happy with Factory Cabs/IRs?

I'm here like.. once a month maybe? :) Not sure where the "focused on metal" regarding MIKKO comes from but I hear it every now and then. I always thought it was pretty well balanced with a FNDR combo, Sure 2x12, Zila 2x12, vintage british cabs etc. :) Either way I personally don't believe in...

Yes I agree with Rex that it's something you can learn. "I know this is a tube because it has this specific resonance" etc. It's not about having a natural talent or having good ear genes because your dad was a musician or whatever. :)

Thanks for the update! Yes you should be able to choose a mono input - you'll get signal coming in from the left side only but the output will be in stereo. :)

We're working on a bigger update that hopefully covers these issues as well. Man it's a serious amount of work to create a plugin like this. Right now you can manually find the preset files as they're actual files with the same names - then just delete them.

The combos had the early "Marshall Vintage" speakers that were announced in '86. Those eventually became the Vintage 30 but with a very different spec. I'm pretty sure the G12T-75 is the standard speaker for all Silver Jubilee 4x12s. The re-issues have the new Marshall Vintage speaker in them...
