Avatar 2x12 FRFR is a good, less expensive option, as well.

Matrix Amplification FRFR 212 is a (passive) 500-watt monster. It's been awesome, for me.

Axe-Fx III, Matrix GT1000FX, 2 Xitone Passives: WOW!

I use an Axe-Fx II XL+, Matrix Gt1600fx, an Avatar 2x12 FRFR, and a Matrix FRFR 2x12 (passives) while my band mate and fellow guitar player uses an Orange RV50 and 4x12 cab(s). Very happy with this setup and volume & quality of tone - low or loud are not an issue whatsoever.

New super lightweight wireless...

I bought this, hope it works out. Working with both active and passive pickups was a big selling point for me. Price was great (139.00). I switch guitars a lot w/ different tunings and no cables I've been craving awhile. Thanks for the heads up everyone.

Firepower - Judas Priest (request)

Anyone made any patches based on the new Judas Priest "Firepower" album? Seems Richie Faulkner and sometimes Glenn Tipton use Engl amp heads (equipboard.com) and you can hear an amazing tone across the new album. I'm interested if someone has some to share they've made or come accross...

Down - Stone the Crow (clean) Preset?

I'd like feedback as to what people hear being used for the cleans in this song? Chorus, or maybe subtle Phaser? Delay? I'm thinking of using a Taylor acoustic patch (axechange) and adding some chorus to start with but want to get it right. Thanks. Sounds start when guitars open this YouTube...

Avatar G212 TRADITIONAL FRFR

Happy with the results. Option to change the horn level is great. Pairs well with my Matrix FR212. Would definitely recommend this as a more affordable yet comparable FRFR solution. The folks at Avatar provide excellent customer service.
