Problems connecting after updating to Win10 22H2?

And I was too quick: I can now connect Axe-Edit. But in Reaper the Axe is not appearing as a valid midi output device. (It's registered as an input device.) This means that I cannot send pc/cc messages to it via Reaper. This is all after the update. If I rollback (as I did a few weeks ago)...

Fixed I went in and reset all my devices from the Device Manager, and then went into Axe-Edit and re-established the midi connections. It seems to work for now. Generally, it's like after updating to 22H2 I needed to a full refresh of my auxiliary devices to re-register them.

Hi everyone, I just updated (again) my Win10 to version 22H2. Unfortunately, I am finding that Axe-Edit is not connecting after I update. When I rollback to the previous version I have no problems. More generally, it appears that after updating to 22H2 I also lose general midi connectivity...

I/O Settings: auto-change?

Ahh, there ya go. Yeah, no problem. It took about 5 minutes on the II.

I/O Settings: auto-change?

Thanks for chiming in. I just did two system backups via Fractal-Bot: one for regular playing, the other for reamping with the I/O settings slightly changed. To test it, I'm now sending the reamping system backup back to the Axe via Fractal-Bot. But it's quite slow. Am I doing something wrong...

I think I know the answer to this question, but... Is there a way to auto-change, or perhaps to recall saved versions of, the I/O settings? I ask only because I do a lot of reamping then playing, then reamping, then playing, and each time I have to get up to change the I/O settings on my Axe...

MIDI Out/Thru: Connecting to RME FF800

Issue solved! Now whenever I start recording in my DAW, TotalMix automatically switches to my FRFR wedge monitors, and right when I stop recording it switches to my mixing monitors so I can audition my takes. Beauty!

Thanks for chiming in. Yep, last night I discovered this to be the case when testing out some program changes in Reaper. They send to the Axe via USB without a hitch. So for simplicity I'll keep things that way rather than running midi cables from my Fireface to my Axe. But on this note, let...
