Various Picks

I just started using these - Bog Street Axe Blade Picks. I seem to be beating them up a bit faster than I would like, but the access to both a thick jazz 3 type tip and a medium flexy strummy tip on the same pick is pretty awesome

Yup, I did a crybaby. I'm using auto-engage with my axe III, but I also wired up the toe switch and I used that to turn off/on my wah when I was using the II

Maintenance for an oiled & waxed neck

For oiled maple, I like this stuff - When the neck starts getting tacky at all, I just take some 0000 steel wool to it and finish up with some of that wax. I have a couple of Carvins with that bare/unfinished maple feel, and I have yet to need to re-oil them, just some periodic care with the...

Smallest Rack Case?

I have my FX II in the 4U version of the Gator rack bag. Apparently I can't post links, too much of a lurker, but if you search Amazon for Gator GRB-2U it should come up. I've been quite happy with it. I haven't flown with it, however. It would be just fine as a carry-on, but I'd be concerned...
