update confirmation: you can do this! i think actually i'll keep this myself. easy steps done only in mfc: 1) set bank style=none 2) set global preset=bak now, when you change banks you will not engage the preset switch up one to the next incremented bank. instead you must now engage...

mat, what if you have bank style set to "none"? don't have my mfc in front of me at the moment. is this because it still looks at the incremented/decremented bank number which updates regardless of whether you engaged a preset in the bank? perhaps this could be a workaround....

Tuner Jitter

strobe tuning tip! let me preface this by saying i have been tuning my 7-string jackson (floyd bridge) with absolutely 0 issues since the day 6.0 was loaded on my ii. i see it lock dead on and even stop, with and without blocking the trem. this is with axe-edit running on a fairly slow computer...

Release notes for firmware 6 published!

from what i understand, there is no need for my peterson stroborack any more?! man, that's just the tip of the ice berg.... and that's some money back in the gear bank that i'm totally happy is "paying for" the axe fx ii. just saying.... cheers to 6.0!

it's also a matter of weight for the smaller racks. the center of balance may be above the tipping point for a 3-4 spacer of lighter material like the abs plastic, etc. thermally, you're right. i think i asked the same question back when. you could always simplify things and go frfr :-P

Just got AxeII... wow, fan noise.

after having my ii for a couple days and playing it with studio monitors and working on axe-edit without playing simultaneously, i have to say i did notice the changes in the fan speed, let alone notice that it was audible. did it bug me? mmm not really, but it was noticeable. more importanly...

the trem is no problem. there's a couple products out there that cover this concern, but one that i use is the tremol-no. you may have already heard of it. makes the trem rock-solid as a hardtail. best of both worlds and you can have the guitar you love even if the bridge isn't quite right. my...

Please help simplify my gigging needs using my AxeFxII and MFC1.

you could work on patch creation w/ axe-edit. that would probably be the faster way to get all the blocks, parameters, tweaks etc. all right in front of you. as of now, the mfc can't be functionally programmed through the current axe-edit, but who knows when that new feature will come out. patch...
