Question about SPDIF output…

Can someone recommend a coax to optical converter that’s silent when the axe fx is switched off? Mine works, but with the axe off it sends a very loud noise signal over optical.

Fixed Axe Edit and Strobe Tuner Display

I'm experiencing the same issue - tuner doesn't enable the tuner and opens options for Reverb 1 on the display.

Buckethead Preset

I'm working on a flexible Buckethead preset which covers a lot of ground (using the 5150 iii). Has anyone else made one they'd like to share, perhaps with the Mesa Rectifier? When I'm happy with it I'll post here, just thought I'd ask the question as I'd love to see what others have come up...

Anyone having issues with their Axe FX 3 dropping out when using it as an interface?

Set it to 256, then ignore that setting and set the buffer size on your computer only. Latency here is not an issue when running VSTs with 64 samples buffer set in software.

Cliff told me to increase the USB buffer size on the Axe when I asked about this a long time ago. Haven't had the issue since.

Basic setup for Logic Pro X

If anyone has the same problem, permit Logic to use your Microphone in System Preferences - Security and Privacy (f#*king stupid I know but that fixed it for me after hours of troubleshooting).
