No more Axe-Fx II signal in Reaper

Sorry for my bad English, my previous post may be confusing. What I mean is, set you project in Reaper to 48 kHz. The AXE-FX has a fixed sample rate by 48 kHz, if the project uses another sample rate, may be no signal will received. I don't know Reaper, but in Cubase it's the same.

I've played all afternoon with the ARES, it's really amazing! But I've found one more bug: the level meter (Gain) for the Speaker Comp don't work anymore. I hope, this will be fixed in the final release. Cliff - thanks again for the last great upgrade. The next step for me will be the III...

Pros and Cons of Multiband Compression

Like keh, mostly I'm using the MBC for adjusting the bass amount nearly in all my presets. Works very great for me. Increasing the level of the frequencies up to 180 hz by 4 - 6 db with threeshold between 30 - 33 db and a bit compression (all by taste, depending on the sound I wish) make the all...

I think the focus is on stage, not on studio, like all the other floor boards too. Would make sense, IMO. Is also a question of price, to be competitive. For studio stuff we have the AXE-FX!

Yes, I'm sure, the amp modelling is so great like in the AXE-FX. But only one amp and cab and lesser effects at the same time. For many users this would be enough.

My speculation: The AX8 is not an AXE-FX and not a FX8. The amps, cabs and effects are reduced to that, what the cheaper processors can handle. Thats totally OK for a floor unit. I guess the price will be about twice that of POD HD500 or a little more. This would be the price to consider...
