Haven’t done any ab, but i don’t feel any loss. Sounds great. But as noted, i slam the input really hard with boosts, OD, etc. Edit: i see 5 is the new 50. Toooo bad. I turned 50 four weeks ago and thought it was the default. But how wrong was I. Need to go back to 5 i guess.

I have now set the input to 3% and that works great tone wise, so i don¨t care if it's correct or not. I push the Axe like i push my Plexi, with boosts, overdrives etc, but it works great now. I have changed my mind about the Dyna-res cabs though. I thought the Dyna-res sounded very well...

That is strange, even if it is correct. No warning earlier with a Dimarzio Super Distortion or Transition pickups + a 30dB boost, and now a strat with '56 vintage pickups straight in would make it clip? (at least get a warning) If i set my 45/50 Cornell Plexi to 1.5, the strat would be low...

Thanks.. #16 is probably closest maybe, although those EVH are trying to be the old 20W gb? Never tried this cab. Found it: Celestion® G12 EVH 20W speakers. I really like the Marshall Handwired cabs with the 30 w speakers (G12H30), but i will likely find a great spund anyhow.
