I wish I could use Output Compression and Gain Enhancer together....

As the title states, I wish I could use both. I don't like having to choose between one or the other. They are both amazing parameters.

Is there a way of delaying the drive and mod settings on the tape delays?

I love the tape delays in the Axe, especially with the improvements made over the past year or so. Watching this video, at around the 10-minute mark, he's using the Watkins Copycat and the first few repeats sound clean but degrade as the repeats go on. Is there a way of replicating this in the...

SLO. Anybody digging this model? Am I missing the point?

I don't dig the SLO at all. I just can't get it to not sound muddy.

Gibson's $1,000 humbuckers

Absolutely ridiculous. I have tried all manner of PAFs, and the best sounding ones I have ever used were a set of Irongear 'Blues Engine' pickups. They cost me £60! Just magnets and wire at the end of the day.

Favorite plugins for post production and how do you use them ?

I use Valhalla reverbs as well as Valhalla Delay. Years ago, I bought Echoboy and it is still amazing. I can get all of those delays with the Axe, but the device-specific presets just make it so easy to add and Echoplex or Space Echo.

Something's coming....

I'd love some sort of preset tie-in with an upcoming Poly Synth FW update, but I think that's asking too much. I'd more than settle with some more Simeon presets, the guy is a genius!

Amp models that surprised you

The recent Stealth amp models are fantastic. Not sure if the amp modelling process has changed, but it has something ‘extra’. It might just be a preference thing and this just has ‘it’, but it’s great. I am hoping for an FAS Stealth, because I did slightly prefer the first version.

How to make lower gain Plexi pre set sound full?

Can you not change the tone stack to 'Plexi' or one of the zillion other tweaks that are possible, to achieve this? The tools are in the box :)
