Read the release notes. A change in SPDIF output level is intentional. "SPDIF output level will no longer be dependent on the volume knob."

Have you found “your” amp in the FM3?

The AC20 (and all the other Vox-style models) also sound great with greenback IRs. I use Leon Todd's TV Mix IR with AC20 often.

But the new album is great and the live show is just incredible. I love what Colin did in that band, but you have to admit his style of play just didn't fit these new songs.

Have you found “your” amp in the FM3?

What do you do to get the rhythm channel tone? Do you start with the Deluxe Reverb model or something else? I think the Imperial is cathode bias, no negative feedback so I bet the FAS Class A amp model is pretty close (blackface preamp w/ cathode-biased 6L6 power amp).

"AMP MUTT" PRESETS

I like the FAS Class-A model, which is a bit of a mutt. From memory, it has blackface tone stack, cathode-biased 6L6 output tubes, no feedback loop.

The complaints about what FM3 can't do are tiresome. Whiners should have bought an FM9 or an Axe-Fx III, but they'll come here to tell us all about the very specific delay trails they need while they're playing at home in their bathrobes.
