Anyone try using UA Ox Stomp for their cabs?

....no, I have't, but to be honest, I dont think that would be possible...you would effectively be asking the Ox room mics to provide a reproduction of a cab provided from a different simulating unit in the chain. I may be wrong, but in any case, why would you? Because..... If you find a...

Anyone try using UA Ox Stomp for their cabs?

Well, I caveat my answer with the fact that "louder is always better"! :p ...but yes, through my Atomic CLRs it sounds fantastic at low volumes. Again though, I think that is due to a combination of the excellent amp modelling in the Axe and the cab/mic stuff in the Ox. I use "resistive load"...

Anyone try using UA Ox Stomp for their cabs?

Yep, I was aware of that, but as you said, the captures are fairly limited. All the cab flavours I like myself are pretty much covered in the pedal and you can add the room mics to all. Seriously.....reading your post about reverb not hitting the spot for you - go try/borrow an Ox Stomp and...

Anyone try using UA Ox Stomp for their cabs?

I think, with respect, the point that I was trying to make is being missed. I tried IRs in the cab block, along with different adjustments there. Most likely it was my inabilty to succeed, but I subsequently found a more pleasing and easier result with my real amps - the frustration then...

Anyone try using UA Ox Stomp for their cabs?

Here is my 2c from the persective of a pretty average Fractal user demographic, I suspect (ie: mainly a bedroom/home studio player).... Firstly, for context, I have owned AxeFx itterations for a long time and absolutely love them. They output to Atomic CLRs and sound great. I then wondered...

    Let’s see your les pauls

Nothing particularly unusual. I top wrap using spare ball ends threaded through each string from the front side of the tailpiece. The purpose is to make sure the tie-end windings don't then come out the other side and over the tailpiece. Top wrapping means I can set everything lower and not...

Yes - unity gain on outputs 3 and 4 is achieved when front knob is all the way up.

Fryette Powerstation as a Loadbox Help

Yeah, normal gain staging rules apply for individual setup. Don't forget there is a Boost/Pad setting in the Axe I/O section for each of output 3 and output 4 to boost the output D/A converter and vary noise floor according to signal being used.
