Raca presets

Thanks Raca ...!! Tried a couple and they sound dandy... when I have time, I'll go through the rest. Got up to the Corn800HF; really like that one :applouse: !, and with a little EQ tweaking it works great with my Matrix GT800FX and Matrix NL's

Can your AXEFX nail the MkIV sound?

As Pinkycramps is .... so am I, that being a Axe Noob, although I've been gleaning a lot of good stuff from this forum from a lot of the veterans, one "major" question I have regarding IR's is this: If I'm using a Matrix NL212 or a NL12, should I be using IR's that are captured using a 2x12...

"What fremen said" When I was doing VO work, I would bounce between the AT2035 (great mic for the price) and my Sennheiser MKH416 "shotgun" (another great one..but obviously a bit more $$$).

Matrix NL 212 with or without cab sims?

Hello Jollo ... As I am still quite an Ax Fx II noob, myself..., I found that I was running into the same thing with both my NL12's and NL212 (using Matrix GT800FX fwiw)., in that I found that my sound was so much "richer sounding" with the cab sims on ...so much so, that I've not...

Matrix + NL12 or 2x12???/CLR?

I agree...that "YMMV" with the use of cab sims with the NL212 (or the NL12 for that matter). For home use, I play through a Bose L1 with the new"B2" sub and playing with quality backing tracks at fairly high volume, I find that I enjoy using the Matrix cabs (either with my NL212 or my (2)...

NL212 vs Port City 2x12 OS

+1 To my ears, using my NL212 in this manner (and also my NL12) sounds great to me. Possibly because of the fairly neutral speakers used in the Matrix cabs (Celestion Century Vintage as I recall ). My 2 cents.

MFC Mark III problem

Same thing with me ... , brand new MFC Mk III ...have had it for a little over a month.... worked fine this afternoon, and just powered it up a bit ago and nothing but a green back lit screen. What a bummer. Looks like I call Fractal in the morning. What the heck is going on with these things ...

Matrix NL12 - as good as a 2x12??

Handed a check last week to the UPS man for my NL12.... and it was $28.02 Love it !!!, and have another on the way for the other channel of my GT800FX :pride:

Matrix purchasers: Have you guys had to pay C.O.D. on shipment from UPS?

My Matrix GT800FX and Q12 cab made it here without the customs charge ... but the NL2x12 did not... I think that it was about $39.00 I got a call from UPS a day or so before it was delivered and the lady asked me what was in the box ..., I told her what it was and she seemed happy with my...
