    Embedded hardware power amp

Is there any plan to make a Axe-FX III with an integrated SS power amp (like the Kemper)? So....3U instead of 4U in a rack.

    Axe-Fx USB MIDI Thru problem

Sorry. LF+12+ -> MIDI OUT -> AXE-FX II MIDI IN AXE-FX MIDI THRU -> LAPTOP MIDI IN Set: Midi thru: ON Data is sent from LF+12+ to the LAPTOP MIDI IN. BUT Data is not sent back from AXE-FX II to LF+12+ to send effect states, etc. Consequence: all buttons are dimmed on the LF+12+ If I turn off...

    Axe-Fx USB MIDI Thru problem

Does anyone also have problems regarding midi through? I have the exact setup as somebody up here (axe-fxII + LF+12+ laptop with MAC OSX with VST/AU controlled by midi guitar), and if I turn on midi through, the LF is not getting data back on the MIDI IN port.

    Axe-Fx II soundcard USB output

Hello, Another problem regarding my current setup. I'm using OUT2 as monitoring output (i.e. those outputs are connected to a pair of atomic passive wedges). OUT1 goes FOH. Problem is now that I'm trying to expand my sounds using VST instruments running on a laptop connected to Axe-FX via USB...

Midi Thru + External device sync (LF+) + Midi guitar

Thank you, but how does this affect my setup? Midi thru is a soft-thru and should be just a copy. What I'm not understanding is why midi return data is not being sent back on midi cable when midi thru is on :-)

Midi Thru + External device sync (LF+) + Midi guitar

Yes, I tried both with USB adapter mode set to ON and OFF. Frankly I don't understand the difference, the behavior of the Axe seems to remain the same. Can someone confirm this is the expected behavior? That turning on midi thru stops the midi return data to come back on the midi in cable? :)

Midi Thru + External device sync (LF+) + Midi guitar

Hi there, This is the setup I'm currently running with: 1) Axe-FX II Mark II, and LF+12+ controller connected via a 7pin midi cable 2) MacOS + Mainstage connected to the Midi through Axe-fx II port using a simple midi-to-usb cable (more on that later) 3) Tripleplay on my guitar. This is just...

Thanks, if worked perfectly. RTFM for me ;-)

Bug? [Bug] Axe-Edit + Midi beat clock

Hi there, Maybe it's not a bug, it's a feature, but it's there. When noodling at home with my Axe (to create patches, tune sounds, etc) I find easier to bounce from one preset to another using my LF+12+ which is connected via MIDI to the Axe-Fx II. Problem is that with this new feature from...

nasally Tone when using overdrive....ALL cabs.

Isn't nasal = 1khz area? Is this like cocked-wah syndrome? Even if you're using different IRs, are you cutting frequencies in the cab-block when using FRFR? And where do you cut? Otherwise you will get the whole frequency spectrum (FR is for full-range....), and that could be the culprit.

    Noise caused by rear inputs/outputs

Connect the Axe-fx ins to the axe-fx outs, leaving the pedal out of the loop, using your cables. Use them one by one. If you get noise with one of the cables, it's the cable. If you get noise with all of the cables, it's the axe. If you get noise with only the pedal connected, it's the pedal or...

Axe-Fx II "Quantum" Rev 8.02 Firmware Release

It's strange because if I remember correctly, the best sounding recto is the rev F dual rectifier, which is the one we have on the AXE. More aggro sound. The later rectos are fizzier and flubbier. Please remember this gem - because I think you're using modern mode, THE recto mode for the chugga...

Axe-Fx II "Quantum" Rev 8.02 Firmware Release

All the demos I've listened either are done with a TS9 in front, or via equalization cut in studio. Recto are flubby and fizzy by nature. They are not tight at all: I've owned two rectos and a Road King. Playing volume is important too. Presence of 10 is wayyyyyy to much. Which cabinet / cab IR...

In the Spirit of NAMM Anouncements (FAS reactive load box)

Mr. Cliff, what about Two Notes Studio? Is that using the same architecture for the load?
