    Haven't ever really tried to describe wines or guitar sounds as eloquently as some more accomplished enthusiasts I have had the pleasure of running into, but if someone had a gun to my most precious and I just simply had to come up with some more or less descriptive words off the top of my head...

    Hmm, just tried and not even close? Especially the palm mutes sound entirely different, more compressed yet not distorted enough?

    Thanks! As any advanced parameters that I have adjusted, have been for a reason so I should not want them to be set back to defaults. I was worried there could be some hidden parameters that won't be set to best support the new modeling without a reset.

    When is the amp reset necessary to enjoy this new Cygnus FW to the fullest? Has anyone happened to A/B if there is any difference between a reset and non-reset amp after the FW update?

    There is a fan running constantly which means dust will keep accumulating inside the unit. Also the fan is not everlasting, it will probably start making noise after enough running hours. Cliff is comfortable with opening the unit and replacing the fan and worn out components if the need arises...

    Hopefully III+ will have memory expansion slot so the unit could sell with a reasonable price tag, but those who want could purchase 1TB sd card and fit as many presets in there as they please. And also a feature to save the cab IR file(s) within the preset file so you wouldn't have to keep...

    Do you need a DI box or some other stuff in between a guitar with passive pickups and input 2?

    People on this forum have had success with ISP Decimator II pedal where the EMI filtering in Axe's intelligent gate has failed.
