Ax8 Into a Boss Nextone Amp

I just picked up a BOSS Nextone Stage amp and am really impressed. The amp hold its own by itself, but last night I bypassed the tone stack with the ax8 and left amp sim on with no cab sim. I am loving it! It has four analog Class AB power amp circuits, selectable from the panel: 6V6, 6L6...

How do I reset an effects block?

Thanks h.c.e. I combed through the manual for an hour and couldn’t find the answer.

How do I reset an effects block?

How do you reset an effects block without being in axe edit. I am on the grid screen and can bypass an effect and edit, but for the life of me I can’t figure out how to reset a block. Cheers

Legacy Presets MASTER THREAD - AustinBuddy DREAMRIGS 1000+TonePack for AX8 and Axe-FX Mark II/XL/XL+

Last gig I played from the Fender pallet. Tweeds and a couple of Bassmans, I believe. The way you have this set up is perfect for me. I tend to pick random amps on gig night that I know are in the parameters of a sound I’m looking for. This forces me to use my ear, fingers and guitar...

Legacy Presets MASTER THREAD - AustinBuddy DREAMRIGS 1000+TonePack for AX8 and Axe-FX Mark II/XL/XL+

Played live last night using your presets as downloaded. They were even better at gig volume. I had been using them at low volumes to practice with great results, but cranked, they really shine. Every patch at medium gain and used my volume knob to adjust for rhythm and leads. Had a group of...

Legacy Presets MASTER THREAD - AustinBuddy DREAMRIGS 1000+TonePack for AX8 and Axe-FX Mark II/XL/XL+

I am loving this pack even more than the last one! As someone who has never played any of these amps in real life, I find Austin's ear invaluable. I found that the last pack taught me the subtle differences between all of the different amps, but this one really squeezes the juice out of them...

4 Cable Method with a Bassbreaker

I think I'm going to stick with frfr and dump my amp too. Its too bad, it is a great sounding amp on its own. Thanks for the input.

4 Cable Method with a Bassbreaker

Sorry, I just realized that I am asking for a way to cheat fractal out of selling some high quality humbusters cords. Does anyone know if all four cords need to be humbusters?

4 Cable Method with a Bassbreaker

Just used some patch cables and have gotten a signal. Still has a pretty major buzz, but maybe humbusters would fix that. I wonder if this is an equivelant to those cables in my local store, so I could return them easily if they didn't work?

4 Cable Method with a Bassbreaker

Yes I do have the plastic Jack's and am using an fx loop block. I guess I was hoping that there was some setting that I was missing in the ax8 that might help, but I don't think that's the case. I'll post on the fender site and see if anyone has had the same issue. Thanks guys

4 Cable Method with a Bassbreaker

This Amp has had the issue corrected and like I said in th original post, I am currently running various effects through the loop. Thank s though

4 Cable Method with a Bassbreaker

Followed this to the letter. Might be an Amp issue

4 Cable Method with a Bassbreaker

HI, Chris I don't have humbuster cables, and don't really want to shell out extra cash, if this still doesn't work. I would go with the cables if there was a minor buzz or some sort of signal coming through. Cheers

4 Cable Method with a Bassbreaker

Just wondering If anyone has had any luck doing the 4 cable method into a 15w Fender Bassbreaker? I currently have a Vox delay and a reverb running through the fx loop of the amp with no noise or problems. If I try to hook up the ax8 (according to instructions) the amp buzzes loudly with no...
