As long as it's a solid fit that does not 'wobble' that does not seem problematic to me (and even if it wobbles: if's its stationary that shouldnt be an issue either)

Please work on the User Interface

I say we remove all buttons and encoders and replace those with a joystick. Im sure it will be a joy to navigate all the additional menu's that will be required.

Distortion/drive pedal question

As an alternative to using the 'mix' or 'dry level', you could run the drive parallel and use the Level control to control the ratio of dry/overdriven signal you get (in this scenario, keep mix at 100% for the drive block)
