Axe-Fx III Firmware Version 6.00 Public Beta

I've seen that behavior before, I'm pretty sure it's not new with 6.0.

    Greatest band of all time?

Mind blowing experience: Listen to The Lemon Song from II with good headphones, loud. Especially what happens after 3:00 is pure magic.

Stratocaster - Try again? Or punt...

Me too. I love the Strat headstock, especially the large one. So glad Charvel is under the Fender umbrella and can use their headstock.

I like my MIM 24 fret Charvel (HH and FR). It has the Full-Shred in the bridge, works really well. You'd think it's high output (from the name) but I'm pretty sure it's actually lower output than the JB. No issues with fret end quality here.

Hey, the info should be in the original post of this thread! (email address and subject line).

Announcing the FM3 Amp Modeler/FX Processor!

I could make that work. I was afraid that maybe one level is just for headphones and the other for Out1.

Yep, I saw those. But I don't know which audio outs they will control.

Announcing the FM3 Amp Modeler/FX Processor!

I really like the usefulness of two manual level controls for live (e.g. on the III). One level knob for FOH that I don't touch anymore after the mixer set his levels, and another one for my stage wedge if I have to fine tune during the gig. Can this be done with the FM3, and how would I use...

Guitar Setup and how setup affects Axe-Fx

If you listen to this very well made video by the mighty Keith Merrow, I think it will be hard to defend the position that pick-ups don't make a huge difference, or differently put, can sound very different. But you be the judge, I'll not engage in an argument. He's even only comparing Seymour...

    John Petrucci's JP2-C Settings

He's the nicest guy in person, and really funny too!

    John Petrucci's JP2-C Settings

He also doesn't use a noise gate, and always runs stereo. I believe he uses the Axe-Fx Stereo Delay to go to stereo and then from there into a pair of Mesas. (That's what I remember from JPGU 2.0).

Guthrie Govan - Ancestral Solo with tone match preset

If you have been in his presence while playing, you would agree that GG is not of this world. Not many can touch him, especially in his otherworldly improvisation skills.

    10,000th post!

Funny, I also started with an SLA and a home-built cabinet (with Eminence speakers). Pretty happy with my QSC CP12 now.
