Wish Next Gen Dyna-Cabs: Support 3D Deep Dive Audio for headphones

There is not much actual detail on either link. There have been several technologies on the market for years offering an expanded spatial image over headphones, so it’s tough to tell what is new here. You could probably home brew something that sounds reasonably good by adding a cab block...

Implemented Marshall silver jubilee (with schematic)

Cab-Lab 4 (SPDIF) output config help

I have a similar setup, using SPDIF into an RME UCX II, and my monitors are connected to the RME UCX II output. My guitar is connected to the front instrument input on the Axe-FX III. Here are my settings in Cab Lab. Output device: RME UCX II Input device: RME UCX II Active output channels...

I had the problem at 32. Now trying 64. I also had the issue of the app crashing when changing the buffer size.

    Cab-Lab 4 Version 1.00.02

I need to try it a bit more to be sure how it’s running now. At first I changed it to 256 while it was set to 16 and the application crashed. Then I changed it to 32 and it remained stable and working, but haven’t had a chance to play much since then.

Red Hot Chili Peppers / John Frusciante recreation

For the Silver Jubilee clean tone the 800 amp in the latest firmware works well for it. Use the Brit 800 2203 Low amp, and in the Preamp tab change its Tone Stack to Brit Silver.

    Brit Silver

I'm getting a good result with the new Brit 800 2203 Low amp. In the amp's preamp tab change the tonestack to the Brit Silver tonestack. It makes for a pretty good cheater Jubilee clean. For the amp controls set the gain low to around 3. I have the other tone controls mostly above 5. The cab is...

    Cab-Lab 4 Version 1.00.02

I’ll give that a try. I’m using the smallest size 16. Haven’t heard any glitches but maybe it’s contributing to the issue.

    Cab-Lab 4 Version 1.00.02

This version is my first install of Cab Lab and I have the 4 cabs currently available. I'm running into an issue on MacOS Ventura where the cab controls stop having any effect on the audio after a short period of time. I am using SW Live Mode with an Axe FX III. Cab Lab is using my RME UCX II as...

    Axe-Fx III Firmware 22.00 Release

Did you reinstall the FW22 update again after running the Dyna-Cab installation? I tried reinstalling both the FW22 and Dyna-Cab updates twice and am still having the problem where the Cab 1 menu is empty. EDIT: It's working now, after closing/re-opening Axe-Edit and then doing Settings ->...

Any database to sort through amps, pedals, presets, …?

Buy the AustinBuddy Live Gold presets. He arranges them into families of amps (Fender style, Marshall style, etc.). Within those families each preset is generally ordered by amount of gain by amp model. And within each preset he provides scenes from low to high gain levels targeted at both...

    FM3 Turbo?

An FM3 using the FM9 Turbo’s chipset has some advantages. From a firmware maintenance point of view it means essentially a single firmware image can be used for both the FM3 and FM9. That’s an advantage in development time and also pushes out more value to the FM3 product line in terms of...

    Plexi. Who's got one?

+1 on York's M25 mix 3. I was surprised to see other mentions here! Also typically go to that IR.

Speaker Impedance Curve: Why is this in the Amp Block instead of the Cab block?

From an electrical signal flow point of view the speaker impedance curve lives in the amp block. From a user point of view it lives in the cab block, because the speaker impedance curve changes depending on the cab selected. Today the "cab" means the IR, which of course also includes the mic...
