No not the same thing. Think full axefx iii in 1u. This is different bc the cpu power could be the same. Ax8 and Fx8 (and fm3) are all lesser than axefx iii in cpu. Also, there’s no reason to limit this to just effects (no amp/cab sims) bc it’s the same cpu. It would only be marketing to...

This sounds like the core audio issue after an axe edit restart. Restarting the computer or pulling the usb cord and plugging it back in should resolve it. Is this the case? If so, there’s a thread about this (no link handy).

Guess what? It worked when I updated to 12.07 under OSX 10.15.4. I updated several AxeFXs and didn’t have to reboot! Are you aware of any changes that were made? I assume it was due to the 10.15.4 update...
