    AX8 plus H9

I like mine. Not using midi since I typically keep them at one or two settings all the time for my primary needs. I might start using when I decide to start using more presets as opposed to a typical pedalboard layout. Also, the AX8 doesn't have reverse reverb.

    AX-8 10.00 Release Candidate

You'll probably need to disable power amp modeling.

    AX-8 10.00 Public Beta #4

The 4th public beta within 3 days. That's a massive amount of work to take on. My only issue was the volume drop from 2 betas ago and haven't even played since due to time contstraints. Literally have only turned my AX8 on to do updates. Cliff and FAS, your work goes beyond appreciated. Thank...

    Wish Benson Monarch/Chimera amp+cab model

I've been seeing videos and reading up on Benson amps and they seem like something worth looking in to. Different than Morgan amps as they seem to rely more on 6V6 power amps with solid-state rectifiers and being completely point-to-point wired. I heard a friend's Kemper profile of one and was...

    On the IR hunt

Hey fellow AX-men/women I'm looking for a cab pack based on the Suhr Pete Thorn signature 2x12 cab. It's an oversized cab with G12H75 Creamback speakers. I did see one of the other cab packs that had a Suhr 2x12 but those were the G12-65's. I have his Div by 13 2x12 greenback IR that was on...

    AX8 V8.02 Released!

Sorry, it's been a good minute since I've been on the forums! I'll find myself having to tweak the OUT2 knob sometimes during play. Some songs my H9's are perfectly audible then others are either too loud or too quiet.

    AX8 V8.02 Released!

Anyone else notice fluctuating levels in the FX loop? I'm 98% positive it's user error but I've been tweaking my levels as I go and notice a drop in volume when using external FX. I keep tweaking my mix knob on my H9's just to make sure but no dice.

Trying to convince indie kids AX8 doesn't sound like shit...

I completely respect and understand where you're coming from. That's how I've always been-it's their dime. At the same time, I'm trying to make the process as convenient as possible for myself since they're not able/wanting to pay much. I don't believe in undervaluing yourself. It sets things...

Trying to convince indie kids AX8 doesn't sound like shit...

Some of them are hardly able to pay much of anything. I honestly like recording and mixing and like helping local music. The attitude received from some of them makes me want to stop doing that altogether. It was just a suggestion and not a dealbreaker for recording.

Trying to convince indie kids AX8 doesn't sound like shit...

Yes. Under the guise of sound. These guys judge people on the guitars they play. Not from a snobby point of view but what their scene is about. Simply put: they're hipsters.

Trying to convince indie kids AX8 doesn't sound like shit...

my complaint is they won't even give it a chance. For loud sources like guitars and drums, it's location based recording. I'll only do vocals and direct stuff at my place. I'm all for people using their own stuff. It's just when I don't charge much since most of these bands are broke, I want...

Man, I'd love to. They're keen to the ways of the DI.

Trying to convince indie kids AX8 doesn't sound like shit...

I've found that they feel so confident about their tone that re-tracking isn't an issue. If they want to shoot themselves in the foot, that's on them. Not to be a dick but I don't want to spend any more time on their tone than they do.

Right. They know I don't personally use real amps, though...
