    Likely possibility my guess

Do You Use the Enhancer Block?

I tried it a while ago on some clean presets. I thought it dulled the sound… but I also run my sounds mono. When recording, I often double track rhythm parts (with a slightly different tone and then pan the tracks hard left and right. That sounds better to me. YMMV

    Axe-Fx III Firmware 24.05 Release

Healthy wish list? .. sure! I just ‘complained’ about the complaining. 👍

    Axe-Fx III Firmware 24.05 Release

Yes. Requests are cool, but, as you said.. “whiny and needy” is not. Let the man do what he’s proven to do. Nobody else can compete with Cliff and FAS in that department. Thx

    Axe-Fx III Firmware 24.05 Release

I dont understand some people. Here we have an amazing product, that can get most any great guitar tone. We have over 300 amps, over 2,200 cab IR’s, dozens of delays, reverbs, chorus, eq’s, etc to choose from. We get updates with improvements, and new features… for free. We get bugs fixed...

I find the Plexi models all quite dark. Explanation inside. Any help?

I don’t have a lack of ‘sizzle’ in the high end of the numerous different Marshall presets I’ve made. I mainly use York Audio IR’s (greenbacks or V-30’s) depending on the amp used. Marshall’s tend to sound best with the bass below 5, the mids around 7-8, treble around 6-7, and add presence to...

    Where firmware 25 takes us?

Maybe Cliff can incorporate AI to give us anything we want. Ex… Wish for a particular amp or effect… bingo, thanks to AI, it’s now there. Wish to play like Matteo Mancuso, or Guthrie Govan? Ask AI… bingo, now you do! Wish to fix your sloppy playing, or shred 64th notes at 350 bpm? Just ask...

Got a request that will make the tube die-hards think....can you do a demo video?

Nostalgia creates the placebo affect. This certainly applies to tube amps vs a digital modeler

POLL: the single amp channel for set-and-forget

I’d like to answer your question, but all I can say is, I would think that a traditional circuit would lose some treble when rolling the volume down vs a treble bleed circuit. Like I mentioned before… my PRS guitars respond excellent with the volume and tone controls. I keep the high end going...

POLL: the single amp channel for set-and-forget

I agree about leaving some guitars alone. I too got on the PRS wagon after 3 decades of playing.

POLL: the single amp channel for set-and-forget

All I know is they’re all stock. These are the models I have… 2005 20th anniversary McCarty (with the different bird pattern on some of them) 2007 Korina w. soap bar (P-90s) AMAZING clean and mid gain tone.. and it screams when you dig into it, plus fantastic sustain. 2010 Swamp Ash 513 ...

POLL: the single amp channel for set-and-forget

I have 4 totally different PRS guitars. They all clean up very well with the volume control, and still retain the treble excellent. Also, the tone control is great for ‘fine tuning’ the tone. I cannot say the same for my 2 Gibson Les Paul’s though. I want to change all the pots in those guitars...

Matrix Amp and Matrix Cabs or 2 Laney LFR 212’s?

I did some research on what FR’s to get a few years ago and chose the Atomic CLR’s. I found two on Reverb and spoke to the sellers and wound up buying them. No regrets… they’re very good IMO. But they’re not easy to find. Not sure about now.

    Axe-Fx III Firmware 24.03 Release

Same with me. I sold my Ultra which I used for at least 10 years, did hundreds of gigs and recording to a friend for the price he offered, which was a good price for the buyer. But I still have (and gig with the II XL+) and the III MKII I use for home and recording.
