one other question....is the xlr out that youve now shielded from phantom pre or post the eq circuit (and could this be switchable?)....im absolutley in either way, but that might be an idea for the 'perfect circuit'.....

Fender FR-12 compared to PXM-12. My experience so far.

I bought the 10 as well, it just was more focused to me and i only use it for stage sound....audience gets a stereo line to foh....

totally agree with this....some people are just more sensitive to noise....in my case the noise is significantly quieter than my tinitus so im good. Joking aside, the noise is well below what would make a difference on any stage....

FM9 with Backline?

Further to above….make sure their amp is not turned on and replace the speaker jack when you’re done or it will damage it. I made sure the back lines power plug was never plugged in to be safe!

What I did in this exact situation was use my FM9 with a Seymour Duncan power stage and then disconnect the speaker on the amp and connect it to the powerstage. It meant that I bypassed the amplification on whatever amp was there and just used the speaker. I was just using the amps for stage...

How do you plan to use gapless switching?

its a fantastic update....if it was combined with the song/setlist function having tempo information as well.....that would make it even better...not sure if this is possible. would open up even more possibilities if it was
