Hi Mathhew, as already stated above, this is the exact setting I use @ home (off course with smaller active powered speakers), just when you want to add additional signals (keyborad / Vocals) a mixer or an Interface like a scarlet might make sense, have fun enjoying your FM3

Hi Jonny If you want to use midi with fm3 you have to get a midi to usb cable. There are some tutorials from cooper carter on how to Programm fm3 3 scene or block status changed in the Logic Pro timeline in a song, it takes some time to get used To it but you can automise almost everything

LT Presets

Have you loaded the cabs from LT ? Otherwise you have to pick your own cab, i suggest to load them

Help with - LOGIC sending MIDI patch change via USB

i just spend some hours on that topic to automate changes on my fm3, you definitely need an midi over usb cable this will show up as some midi device not as fm3. So far preset and scene changes work fine, only copy and paste of the midi item and pasting it lead sometimes to unwanted behaviour.
