    FM9 Audioslave: Like a Stone Cover (FM9)

Cat! How did you keep the tremolo in sync? Was it applied in post?

    Waitlist Email

When do the Australians get theirs? They have people from day 1 on the wait list that haven't gotten anything.

Why doesn't the FM3 have a cross over block?

I think Fractal owe us an explanation on that one. I can't think of a good reason not to have it. Sure they might claim product differentiation. But with the FM9 still with no ETA (end of the year maybe?) and the Axefx3 still out of stock locally (let alone the price of a used car - A$4.7k)...

Why doesn't the FM3 have a cross over block?

Alternatively... best way to split the bottom end of the bass signal out for separate processing?

    My MC4 build

I've been using this controller I built for about 3 years or so now, both at home and live on stage. Thought I'd pop some deets up on a webpage and share: http://memecode.com/hw/mc4/ There is far more detail on there than I want to add here... so go read that yeah? I've been on Fractal since...

    Australian pricing?

$3k even is not going to happen. There'll be the usual spiel about price increases and component shortages and it'll be $3.5k before you know it. Everyone wants their little piece of the pie.

    Australian pricing?

But... but... Independant have no stock of anything... so will Fractal now open up buying direct for Aussies?

Phaser? Flanger? What is this effect?

Putting it after the amp helped a lot. I started with it before... thanks.

Phaser? Flanger? What is this effect?

From this song: I've tried a bunch of stuff... the phaser and flanger blocks, but it doesn't have that whooshing sound. Not even close. Seems to be in just one side of the stereo spectrum. So if you have some ideas to try... let me know!

Put some Lambertone's pickups in my Warmoth Jazzmaster... I like

This guitar I've been working on slowly over the last few years. And the original P90's weren't working for me, too dark... too much mids, too much output. Bleh. Anyway after a little research I settled on the Lambertone's Ristretto's and well... they sound/feel great to me. They went in last...

AFIII Quick Mix: Rate this Guitar Tone...

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say it's too dark. I prefer more top end in my guitar tones. Talking presence freq up over 6k-12k sort of area.

IF YOU READ NOTHING ELSE, READ THIS!

Honestly that makes upgrading significantly less attractive. Along with the extra rack space. At least it's lighter. I suppose that's the same for the FM3... no reason why it would be different.

IF YOU READ NOTHING ELSE, READ THIS!

Oh boy... the Axefx3 doesn't support bi-directional midi? (from the same port) I was thinking of upgrading...

Mother's day woship set (2 songs)

I know it might not be your cup of tea, but I'm still pretty stoked about this. The band I play in regularly recorded 2 songs for the church's Mother's day stream. And it's the most professional we've ever sounded IMHO. On a technical note I was using a new DuoJet specific version of my DC30...

I have no idea how to record decent sounding metal tones. Everything sounds a little muffled?

Sometimes you have to tune the frequencies coming out of your pickups for the patch. Dumping an EQ early in the chain, before dirt and amp blocks, can really help make the patch work. I'm guessing you probably want to yank a bunch of bass and/or low mids (150-250hz) out and maybe also boost some...
