New AX8!

I I can confirm this for the Blackstar club 40. Had the same issue until I figured that out. Took me a while! That said, my experience was not good running my Axe into the loop. Sound was very unpleasant. Same presets through FRFR and Fryette PSII into Port City 1x12 sound great!

Great, that was my understanding as well. I wasn't sure if some of the recent comments were suggesting there may be some variation at the lowest volumes. I think I may have just misread.

Pretty sure I ordered just the American Standard because I didn't see much difference with the others and I requested black british grill cloth and white piping to look more like a Marshall. You're right, it is pretty deep. It's got about 2 1/2" of breathing room in the rear. Been thinking...

Nice to hear you made the order on the Stage Craft head shell. Mine took a while to arrive, but was well worth the wait! I know it's stupid, but it helps me not regret ditching some nice tube amps to get to where I am now.

Not certain, but they seem accommodating and would probably build a 5 or 6u to hold the Axe, Matrix, and grill cloth.
