Axe FX 2 to Focusrite scarlett

If you're using an XLR to XLR cable then the Focusrite will default its input to mic level automatically. You need to use either a jack to jack or XLR to jack cable, or alternatively SPDIF to SPDIF (if your Focusrite has and SPDIF input).

Axe edit and Ultra

I could never get the final version of Axe Edit to work with my Ultra (firmware 11). It would lock up and cause all sorts of problems. I eventually downgraded to version 0.9.191 beta and it worked perfectly. I still use my Ultra as a back up (have a II now) and still use that Axe Edit version...

axe fx ultra buzzing/output problem

Might be worth taking the top off and making sure all the cables and, especially the ribbon cable, are properly seated. If you're confident to do it, detach the ribbon cable and spray both the plug and socket with some contact cleaner then re-attach. I had a (different) problem with my AFX II...

Plug your monitors into the M-Audio interface and connect to your pc via usb. You should be able to play music files from your pc. Connect a jack to jack lead from the output of your Ultra to the line input on your interface and you should then be able to hear your guitar through your monitors...

Need Help On Power Amps and Cabs

I've used my Ultra with a Rocktron Velocity 300, a Matrix GT1000FX and a Mesa 2:90 into two 2x12 cabs for live gigs and band practice. All of them were loud enough to cut through a loud band and all sounded good with the Ultra. I like the Mesa best with that rig so that's the set up I mostly...

Not sure what you're trying to do here but, assuming you're trying to load IR's to the Ultra's user slots? First of all, you'll need some 3rd party IR's. There are lots available for free from Redwirez, Ownhammer, etc. You can also buy packs from these and other companies (including Fractal)...
