PA Speakers or FRFR ?

I don't own a Fractal product but I'm using modelers for more than 15 years. I bought a powered PA cab (which btw are all FRFR) because my patches never translated good enough to FOH for my taste. You don't need to invest a lot as there's really good chance you will never play on comparable...

FRFR for bass

For me it would be 2x powered Accugroove Latte. Good for guitar and for bass. For passive cabs, have a look at Barefaced and Fearful/Fearless from Greenly. I'm using EV ZLX12P with EV ZXA-1 sub at home. Very nice. But you can use almost any good bass cab with something like a Crown XLS-1502...

Recommendation for FRFR Bass Cab at Gig Volume

Was he using a cable with speakon or TS connector? If TS connector, possible he used a guitar cable instead of a speaker cable? Possible the cable gauge was too small? Did he plugged/unplugged the cab while the amp was turned on?

If router dies: I think you can plug your iPad directly using usb camera adapter. If iPad dies: get your iPhone out of your pocket ;) We are talking about $300 digital mixer, some compromises might be done, if not that's why the X32 exists :)

Take a look at the XR12 (or XR16 and XR18 ), it's in a snake breakout box form factor. So you put it where you usually put your snake (my usage :) ) so a bit different from X32 rack. Also there's a builtin wifi to control it from wherever you want with iPad, tablet, laptop (waiting for midi...
