Shimmer Preset

I did make some changes to my IN/OUT settings recently. I had an issue where if the Expression Pedal was not attached to EXT 1 all presets with WAH etc would engage with max WAH. I changed the initial value for EXT 1 to 100% as recommended in the forum. Is that a bad idea ? Cheers

I haven’t reset the block and not sure how to do that. I have changed the leve, saved then when I come back to the preset it’s back at -80

Hi I have been going through some older presets pre gig and some are not making sound. I have traced it to the filter (null used for solo boost) being automatically set to -80db. Even when I change to 0db and save it upon change of preset it goes back to -80 again. I can’t see any controllers...

What do you use for backup if AX8 dies at gig?

I had a Flyrig a while ago but didn't like the Boost setup and found the levels difficult to control. Also no tuner so you need an extra pedal. I currently have a Pedaltrain Nano with pedals (AC+, TC Chrous, TC Delay, Plextortion, Boost, Tuner) but it is another bag I have to lug around. I...

Yamaha DXR-10 Setting

Well the DXR performed well. I left the DSP off and played it flat. I didn’t change any settings on the AX8. There was definitely no shortage of bass but I didn’t think it was too much. So insunmary the DXR has more bass than the FR10 powered by my GTX1000 but both sound great. Much better...
