The GR-55 is really a different synth, there are some similarities but they do very different things. The SY-1000 is a better version of the SY-300 with the addition of the 13 pin input, quicker response, more routing, etc. I haven't tried the midi conversion to external synths yet so I don't...

Fixed Why Cant I set Differing Parameters between Scenes?

Yes its always been a little flaky, but it got worse. I was able to put my mouse over the fields that were incorrect and it would update, not any more. Now when you load a program, only the default scene is displayed regardless of which scene you change it to.

It appears that axe edit isn't refreshing the midi block values when changing a scene within a preset. Hardware is OK though. I'm on the latest firmware and axe edit.

how to switch Amp Boost via midi?

Yes external controllers are scene independent. If you want to use scenes to control the boost switch in the amp block you can use a scene controller instead. But you can only use one or the other method at the same time, not both. If you were using an external switch on the back of the AxeFx...

Yes Assign the boost switch to an external controller, assign the external controller to a CC, Send a 127 value value from your midi controller to that CC on the same midi channel the axe is using to turn it on and a 0 (or 1) to turn it off.

I'm not in front of axe edit at the moment but press the controllers button and they are somewhere in there.

There are 3 options per scene. On, Off, Last. When set to last they will ignore scenes.
