Class D Power Amps .. Any good?

So I have been using a Class A/B power amp from a well known supplier for years, going into real cabs. Has anyone found Class D amps as good, or not? Only asking as thinking of getting one as a back up. Cheers :)

Software FracPad III - iOS/Android/Mac/Win Editor for the Axe-Fx II/XL/XL+, AX8/FX8, Axe-Fx III and FM3/FM9

So before I purchase the Yamaha MD-BT01, I am just checking that Fracpad Lite will connect via bluetooth with my Axe 2 and iPad? If not then I will purchase the Apple Camera connector and have to be wired :(

Behringer FCB 1010 query?

Thanks guys, I was under the impression the FCB 1010 with upgrade was about the only one that could do this. I did fancy an old Roland FC-200 but am sure this cannot do "stomp boxes". Will do a bit more research on other midi controllers options thanks to your advice :)

Behringer FCB 1010 query?

Hi all Is the above unit about the only one that can do stomp box mode and program change in one layout (after an UNO upgrade) ? I use a Voodoo Lab GCP at present which is amazing at this, but wanted a cheap back up unit. Cheers Dave

Recommended Adjustment

Tried this tweek last night in a gig, .... :eek: Very impressed :) I never could get my Brit 800 to sizzle on my Axe FXII quite as good as it did on my Axe Ultra for some reason. This seemed to be what was missing. Thank you Cliff :)

Axe-Fx II "Quantum" Rev 9.00 Firmware Release

So for us lesser mortals who use SS power amps and real guitar speakers for live gigs, as the Spkr Comp knob now defaults to 3, then I have to go through EVERY amp I use and reset this to Zero :o Maybe give this update a miss :(

Does Matrix GT1000FX + Axe punch kick?

Likewise, personally I max the Matrix and use volume on the Axe as it is easier to alter one overall volume knob rather than 2 :D
