I haven't broken a string in years mostly because I change them often. The difference between a .10 and .11 isn't much at all. If your frets are clean, you keep your guitar clean, strings are clean and you don't pick way harder than you should, there shouldn't be a reason for your strings to...

So I just spent too much money on some Legos...

That's ok, Lego can be an investment. I spent 800 dollars on Lego and 8 months later sold those same unopened sets for 4 grand. They were discontinued when I sold them though.

I agree and disagree with you about this. Yes, they sound like Hammet solos, but there's really absolutely nothing to them anymore like they used to be. It really sounds like he doesn't take the time to write solos anymore, he just plays whatever and if it works good enough, then it's good...

Is it just me, or does anybody else find that Kirk Hammet just doesn't seem to care about his solos like he used to? The ones he's been writing over the years are just so lame. Good parts here and there, but bad solos. Lazy solos.

Video of my Axe FX Rig

Hey thanks, Yeah my guitar goes straight into the tuner, then out to the Axe. That way, I can just hit my volume pedal to silence my rig and still be able to tune. But I use evertune guitars, so really the tuner is just sitting there looking fancy lol.

V-Picks, Question About Chirping

When I was at NAMM 2016, I stopped by the Chicken Picks booth and they gave me one to try. I liked it so much that I bought a lot of them from the website. Easily the best picks I have ever used. I've never been a fan of thick picks, but man, these picks are thick, and awesome.

As a YouTuber myself with 132,000 subscribers, 1 single flag from some random troll can't do that at all. For a video to be removed from YouTube that does not violate the major rules like nudity, animal abuse, racism, etc, it has to be from somebody who owns a patent or copyright of some sort...

Axe FX volume question for recording
