MFC not responding to switching scenes! SOS!

Thing is, I haven’t changed anything.. The laptop is hooked up to an interface which I have connected to the Axe with a MIDI cable going from the interface’s Out to the Axe’s In. It’s not sending any commands or anything, just synced up for tempo. It’s set to Channel 1, I believe, not Omni...

It happened again tonight. I tried a different cable too. I was on Scene 8, and went to hit Scene 4, and when I did, the screen said “Scene 4” for a second after I hit the switch, but never actually changed to that scene. It stayed on Scene 8. It’s like the MFC is trying to switch scenes but...

Help choosing Bare Knuckle pickups.

You should email them. Tell them everything you can about your guitar and what you want out of the pickups. (What sound you're going for, what you don't like about your pickups now, sound clips, etc.) Their support team is extremely helpful!

Guitar levels for re-amping if DI isn't from the Axe's dry out?

Edit: If I DO track the DI signal on the USB Dry Out, and then just zoom in on waveforms to edit properly, when I go back in to re-amp, do I keep the fader at 0?

Very specific noise gate theory/questions...

Think simplistically! Each noise gate cuts noise from whatever's "behind" it. The one in your input is cutting out the noise from your guitar, and the one at the end is cutting noise from the things between the first gate and itself. So even though you have one in front, if there are effects...

Guitar levels for re-amping if DI isn't from the Axe's dry out?

I've been using the Axe-Fx for a while, but this is my first time re-amping. I understand a lot of people will record dry signals with the Axe via USB, which are very quiet, and then re-amp, but I have a different method so I'm not sure how to adjust the DI's before I re-amp. I know this sounds...

Oh, and now I'm using a Matrix GT1000FX power amp (which I love) into an Orange 4x12, though I'll probably be getting rid of the cab soon.

If you're a beginner, you'll probably get a middle-of-the-road amp at first. Eventually you'll want to upgrade to a better head, or maybe two heads, and then a better cab, then better pedals, then more pedals, then a bigger pedal board, then more power supplies, then you'll want a rack, etc etc...

I think Bakerman is right here. I'm 99% sure I tried notalemming's idea in the past with no success. Sidivan, would panning left or right effect my sound if it's running stereo through FOH?

Wah always on... sorta. Help!

Ah, so the auto-engage function will allow the wah to work despite it's block being on or off in a particular scene. I see. I figured it that might have been a factor here, but I was hoping there'd be another solution. I'll just set my wah preset to it's own scene, and learn to tap dance a bit...
