Axe-Fx / Cubase midi problems

I've tried doing this with Cubase 6 but unfortunately this functionality is removed in Cubase Elements. Not sure if you're running the full version or not

Yea it was clipping, but was from the song being played into the Axe Fx too loud. I mixed it after the fact so it wouldn't clip. I actually forgot to adjust the levels when I did 46&2 so it was even too loud in my ears. Woops

The headless guitar player strikes again haha. Now that I have all my gear in my room I don't have a good place to record videos where you can see my face and the fretboard clear enough, but that's another issue. The patch I'm using wasn't created specifically for Tool or for any other band...

Thanks guys. I hope to get EZ Drummer soon so I can try to improve my demos and overall mixing ability. And no lyrics for this one. I'm not much of a singer or lyricist but I think the song should have vocals. But for now I just write instrumentally

Modern Rock Song

Modern rock song I finished about a month ago. The weak link in the mix other than my playing is the drums, they're just the ones included with Cubase. I'm no mix master either. I used the Herbert for one side and FAS Modern for the other Anyways enjoy and let me know what you think

Why does the down arrow increase cabs in AE and vice versa?

I think for cabs the arrows represent how you would see the cabs in a list...for example cab 1 is at the top so you would scroll down (down arrow) to the next cab
