Poll: Second unit for home use and backup

I have all 3. Axe IIIT stays at home. FM9T gets the gig, FM3T is waiting in the wings......after 6 years gigging Fractal gear....not even once did I have to switch a unit out. :::::knock on wood::::

From AX8 to FM9

My tone evolution with Fractal. FX8 to AX8 to FM3 to FM9 to AxeFX III. Each transition was an adjustment for me. Dialing in tones became easier as I moved through the different offerings. Like previous comments here. The principles apply across all platforms.

AXE FXIII MKII -I switch to FM 9!

No problems here. I have both the AxeFX III and the FM9. The FM9 has worked flawlessly over many gigs. It's funny, out of likely thousands of FM9s out there, someone posts an issue they have and people think this is happening across all the FM9s. Take a deep breath....it's going to be ok.

You can make it work with the hold function. Check the manual. Pretty clever how the switches work.

I had an FM3 before. Gigged it for a year. It did all it had to do and more. I was very pleased. What helped was adding an outboard double switch to scroll through presets. Then the FM3 would handle scenes. 3 scenes is all you really need most of the time. When the FM9 came out I signed up on...

Outdoor heat problem

I always drag a small fan for outdoor gigs pointed at the board when hot or direct sun. And of course a bigger fan for me :cool:

New User - on the fence if the FM9 is for me

Set the display offset to "1" and it should work fine. FM9-Edit > Setup > Display Offset =1

I've installed FM9 firmware 3.00 public beta 2 and upgraded to FM9-Edit 1.01.01. I can see the new drives on the unit itself. However, I do not see them in the drive list within FM9-Edit. Anyone else have this issue?
