My Ax8 froze mid-gig

This is like reading a forum thread where somebody says "my car steering locked up, and I drove into a tree" ... then somebody offers "I have the same car, and that never happened to me!" Well THANKS for the info, that really helps.

Just one thought, maybe the AXE8 and FX8 do not share the parts that are causing the holdup ... if it even is a parts problem. Doubt it is anything else, unless the 2000 I ordered is keeping others from getting theirs :)

Who sold a Bogner Ecstasy amp for Axe Fx II?

Had an Ecstacy Classic, the last amp I owned ... sold it after seeing Scott Peterson also was a Bogner man. Never looked back.

electronic burn smell

I accidentally reached behind and started plugging the USB cable into the RJ45 ... my unit went off (pop) but has worked flawlessly since (now it has been a year). But I do get that smell now, very noticeable since I had the plugging mishap.

Fw18... news?

55 in April ... I just can't drive 55 ... Best tones or not, I never had this many amps available ... not to mention effects ... and possibilities. It has been a very satisfying ride using the AxeFx.
